You will be forced to suffer in unimaginable ways as an attempt to “prove” you could get better if you wanted. Many ME patients slowly starve to death because they can’t eat/digest - yet are refused feeding tubes because doctors think “when they’re hungry enough they will eat” /2

There were even instances of bedbound ME patients being thrown in pools to see if they would swim (they didn’t). These patients can’t will themselves better. They deserve the same care you would give anyone else who couldn’t eat, sit up, talk etc. Enough with the stigma /end
