So I’m on my way home from a visit to Canada, which has withdrawn the penny from circulation. The smallest coin is now the nickel. To make up for this, if you pay for something in cash the round the final amount up or down to the nearest nickel. This is shown on the receipt. Good idea? Bad idea?
