Interesting, I didn't know that was the idea. I always associated doodle with playing around, and sketch as practicing. but it throws me off because artists are so good, their "trash" was lightyears ahead of my high effort lol

Believe me we all feel that when looking at others work haha, I think it's just that as you grow in skill, the baseline that you consider to be a doodle or sketch will naturally grow too
