I cross post to Mastodon, Threads, and Bluesky. I have the most followers on Mastodon but low engagement, 1/3 as many followers on Threads with the best engagement, even semi-viral a few times. I don't even know what to think of Bluesky yet, but I do like its moderation features the best. I cross post to Mastodon, Threads, and Bluesky. Thanks!
While it wasn't a great day to be a Spartan at Autzen Stadium, we enjoyed our first Ducks game with grandma and grandpa. The fans were really nice and respectful. We had so much fun. Nice work, Oregon, and welcome to the Big Ten! https://afterword.blog/spartans-at-oregon/
Using “induced demand” to explain away any need for roadway changes aimed at improving traffic flow and safety has got to be the most intellectually lazy, borderline cultish religious proselytizing I see in the urbanist/cycling sphere today.
Gotta hand it to Sweetwater's customer service. Order a couple $6 pots for a Jazzmaster and suddenly I've got a personal voicemail and email updating me on the shipment date of my order from a sales associate, with a 10% discount code to boot. I’ve been trying to ward off hair loss by taking meds for a little over 2.5 years while also dermarolling. Hard to know if I’ve made any progress, but the hair loss hasn’t progressed. Trying to accept that this may be as good as it gets.
Have you noticed this trend where people on Facebook, most commonly middle-age or elderly women, use some kind of AI filter that smooths out their features, makes them thin, and puts their faces on other people's bodies entirely? And then they try to pass it off as themselves? That shit is weird AF.Have you noticed this trend where people on Facebook, most commonly middle-age or elderly women, use some kind of AI filter that smooths out their features, makes them thin, and puts their faces on other people's bodies entirely? It’s barely light out anymore when I wake up. It happens every year, but it’s never any less jarring.
