Abortion Bans Have Delayed Emergency Medical Care. In Georgia, Experts Say This Mother’s Death Was Preventable.
At least two women in Georgia died after they couldn’t access legal abortions and timely medical care in their state, ProPublica has found. This is one of their stories.
Her story is also a good reminder of the fact that, while people are getting abortions outside of ban states, it usually takes herculean effort and a fair bit of money.
The top of the article includes a photo of the heart-shaped tombstone of the woman which includes her picture. She was born today in 1993 & died before her 30th birthday.
