The post composer now explains the benefit of alt text, which we hope will encourage folks to write alt text. The alt text editor now also shows the image along side the alt text input field.

Posts now include a “Language” control. This update should fix a common problem with poor language detection filtering posts out of feeds. This can be set to multiple languages, and it defaults to your device’s chosen language(s). It will remember the last choice you made.

Speaking of text…could you also please add the ability to select text in a post? Doesn’t seem to be supported currently in iOS once a post is published

Alt is short for Alternate; it makes sense in a small button, or as a HTML attribute name, but for paragraphs describing it, it would seem reasonable to expand it to the full name, since it helps give (even more) context to why it exists.

Speaking of alt text, is there a way of indicating it is included without obscuring the post being described?
