Purchase and Manage Domains Directly Through Bluesky

We’re excited to announce a new feature that allows users to seamlessly purchase and manage domains directly through Bluesky.

I recently signed up for a domain name through another app, hope it isn't hard to switch to this one, which is much more reasonably priced.

I like this plan, I’m not looking for more domains (I already have too many) but will it be possible to transfer domains to your service?

Just as we’ve made our source code public, we also want to be  transparent about our business plans. We'll experiment with different strategies and services to see what provides real value to our users, and will continue to share what we learn as we build a sustainable social network.

Is that possible to support domain transfer as well? Seems my .dev domain could not transfer to Namecheap directly. 😕

Does it have to be a legitimate domain or can I register something like clownpenis.fart? I am not trolling I would actually pay to be able to post from that domain

This seems like a weird choice. Registering domains is what your users wanted? I would have paid for a one button push integration to my existing domain provider. I would also pay for a service to manage multiple @names at my domain.
