We idolize our politicians and think of them as better than us, rather than just as ordinary people doing a job we hired them for!
I know you don't, nor do I. Every candidate gets his or her interview. Sure some are smarter and some not as smart as me, some are handsome or prettier than me.... but it has to be a job interview with a RESUME. LOL Sadly you're right about half the country.
I can only speak for myself, but I absolutely do not idolise politicians
I think they suck
Oh yea i get this, but at the same time I don't. like take ex of class captains in school: we all were students, hecc classmates even. but somewhere along the line they were choosen and not us(either the class liked them, or extra curricular activities or teachers like them or they are popular)
If you want to know about humans, what we were all about, it's in our art. How we felt & what we said about it all. Music, paintings, writing, dance, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 what we did, what's important and remarkable! Politics is just the dirty rut in the carpet on the way to the toilets of humanity. No more.
Shit if I hired any of them to do anything, but I get 100% what you are saying totally.
And who should be fired when they don’t.
I have never idolised politicians. They are public servants elected by us, paid by us, to do the best by, first their constituents, and now, really, by future generations, nature and a habitable planet How many are doing this? #WellbeingEconomy
Even armed with the knowledge Donald Trump was president? Not me I don't, I think quite a few of them are very stupid.
