"You win some. You lose more" should be required to be emblazoned in every casino in the U.S.
I’m in the “conservative” south where everyone’s worried about social issues but gambling ads, bars, etc are everywhere. It’s so gross.
I feel like this is like the crazy cigarette notices in Europe, though still see way more people smoking and gambling.....
it is the barest minimum our government dares to do against a huge lobby of gambling corps and sporting leagues that take in revenue from it. it was painfully obvious when it was legalised in the us you guys would take it to a whole new insidious level.
Also worth noting that when there's a studio show betting segment, there is a clear delineation with a designated betting broadcaster for the segment, as opposed to the regular studio show guys and graphics packages just throwing in lines and parlays wherever.
Gambling appears to be an even bigger issue down there than it is here, but we could certainly use some that initiative. "Chances are you're about to lose" is a particularly good one imo
