She was president of the Oxford University Liberal Democrats! Tim Farron has said her work as a sleeper LibDem agent is done... 😀

Personally I think that that understates the damage that Jenrick could do with his Vance/Truss levels of weirdness, inauthenticity and slimeballery.

James O'Brien quoting something he read elsewhere: "If Kemi Badenoch wins the Tory leadership contests every Labour MP will have to declare it as a gift in the Register of Members Interests" 😂

Yes, the pronunciation is going to be better. But the number of words in the database is limited to, if I remember correctly, something like 700 or 900 words. On the other hand you can stick together phonemes to get the correct pronunciation for most words.

Glad to be of help 👍. I find it a great resource for nailing down the sounds of Irish in the main dialects. All three speakers are cainteoirí dúchais which is kinda helpful, to me at least. fuaimeanna.ie/en/Speakers....

Go raibh maith agat. I actually haven't run across fuaimeanna before, and I always appreciate a new resource!

I find the IPA very helpful and will very often search for '[focal] IPA' to source an exact pronunciation of a word in Irish. Fuaimeanna.ie another useful resource has IPA transcriptions of words. IPA isn't very difficult to pick I and I think that it is a very useful tools for language earners.

I'm sure the International Phonetic Alphabet is helpful for those who can read it, but I'd like to apologize to those of you who can't. I'm not comfortable trying to approximate it otherwise since that would be hideous, confusing, and ambiguous, but I'm also unable to upload mp3 files of the words
