November 1991 vs November 2024 #らんまアニメ#Ranma

Ranma seems a lot more aware of his female form than in the original. As an NB person, I always vibed with the that he's so nonchalant and pragmatic about it. That "it is what it is" energy. I know and understand why they changed some things but it's something I'll have trouble getting used to.

Honestly it's a pretty good remake so far, even though they got some colors wrong. There's little to no chance of it surpassing the original in terms of popularity, but time will tell.

I’m kind of impressed Newtype hasn’t changed its style in decades, because it didn’t need to. It already looked pretty modern back in 1991

I used to have a copy of that 1991 issue, but sadly it’s been lost to the ages.
