Cetirazine is supposed to have anti-inflammatory as well as antihistamine, anti-allergic effects, but you've probably already tried it (zyrtec)
I used to be very sensitive to wool - feet would "burn" if wore wool sox I made; after I had a transplant + started taking immune-suppressants, that sensitivity went away completely. There might be less drastic immune modulators to help ppl w similar allergies?
I like superwash for gifts because it's easy to care for and it usually isn't itchy the way a lot of unprocessed wool can be. I have a sensitivity to wool myself. I can knit with almost any yarn but can't wear a lot of wools even with a barrier between it and my skin.
