10.) oh boy, advice... write the thing you want to write, w/e it is. fuck what's popular, what will get you the most likes & kudos. write the ships you actually like, the dynamics you like, the tropes and plots and kinks. maybe only 2 people read/like it, but for those 2 people, it was a dream.

10.) write what makes you happy, not what you think you need to write to be a Hit Author, to be president/king/queen/whatever of a thing, but because you like it & it speaks to you. we ALL get bogged down by stats & that can truly ruin the hobby you love--i can speak from experience.
