Here are three more neat games I saw at the local lounge at GCAP store.steampowered.com/app/2878580/...store.steampowered.com/app/2442820/...store.steampowered.com/app/2908050/...
TBH, at GCAP when people would reference their wishlist numbers in the range of over 10k I felt a little embarrassed and couldn't even say my number as I hadn't even hit 3 digits But! As of now I have finally cracked 100 Still a long way to go though
Also, there were some pretty neat games on display too Here are three I thought were looking pretty good store.steampowered.com/app/2646170/...store.steampowered.com/app/1929290/...store.steampowered.com/app/3182950/...
I think I learnt some valuable things about my game demoing it A few levels need slight redesigns I also learnt how different of an environment an exhibit like that is I think if I did it again I would format the demo very differently
Eventually, it came to light that I was right and it really was set up wrong However, I was still somehow the one blamed for this
I spent many months trying to get the data collection system working I said multiple time that it was set up wrong and was ignored
Another example is that I was responsible for data collection. It was using an in-house system I read the documentation, and clearly it had been set up wrong I voiced this to multiple seniors and leads and they told me it was fine
They have a really toxic culture of blame there btw
I was blamed for everything. Despite the fact that my only crime was making the feature actually usable by the design team
