plenty of you have so much grace to offer your parents which is fine i know how complicated that shit feels but i think it’s good for you overall to be able to recognize your parent is a fucking asshole when they are one.

Ive gone no contact with both my parents, who are both AWFUL people in two very different ways (It took me a lot longer to reconize that in my mom because her abuse wasnt physical but yknow) And honestly, it's been fuckin awesome.
