Showcasing my current #Lego project, which is an 18th century sailing ship! The first picture is the HMS Authority in its old form, and the second picture shows what the ship will look like after my (in-progress) revamp. Stay tuned!

The hull is a dark brown, and there are stripes of tan and blue mixed in with black. The sails are an off-white, and rigging is represented with many things black pieces and some string. The model is large, and the entire thing rests up on a display shelf.

I was recently able to build an updated stand and the basic structure of the ship, which includes lower sections of the hull. I'm especially happy with this early progress, because the complex shaping was a priority in this redesign!
