I’m convinced it’s the ‘5 AI guiding tenets’ that have unlocked the use of AI in Arizona State University in a way that looks to me to be almost unparalleled in universities across the world. ai.asu.edu

I totally get why sharing an opinion might be fuelled by emotion & delivered with anger, anxiety or frustration. That can make it hard to really listen to other perspectives or ideas. If you can hear other views & engage with them respectfully you are much more likely to find solutions.
People. It’s all fair & well promoting apprenticeships as a (cheaper) alternative to universities. They will be a fantastic option for many. But also know an apprenticeship won’t end war & poverty. It won’t create vaccines & cures for illness. It won’t fix the economy & it won’t stop global warming.

Every time I read a headline about Universities and the ‘golden years’ I always imagine this lot as a University senior leadership team.
This will increase existing pressure in Canada which was already squeezing things painfully tight. In various countries around the world there seems to be a real ignorance of and residence to the benefits of a global knowledge economy.
