LOOK AT THIS FIGURE: human cell types by count and biomass. 80% of the cells in your body are Red Blood Cells (RBCs), meaning a statistically "average" human cell contains no DNA. Nuclei are the EXCEPTION, not the rule. From a biomass perspective, muscle myocytes are half your cellular mass.
Still 800 Mbp nuclear DNA per cell on average, more than 20.000 times what E. coli carries. Fine with that 😉
That biomass is pretty inert when the nuclei we do have aren't functioning, but whatever. Brawn ain't much good without brain to direct it, all I'm sayin. 80%, w00t!
