Since a big part of THE DISCOURSE™ today is around language use, one I find amusing: 'Linen' refers to a cloth made of flax fibers, but 'linens' (bed linens, table linens, church linens) can be made of any cloth. I don't think I've ever owned linen sheets. Hence we can have: "Cotton linens". 🙃

Linen sheets are... nice. They are more breathable than cotton, which is good for me bc I am a hot sleeper
