Like East and West Sea Gastrodon
Oh yeah, here are the line's shiny forms, inspired by Brown and Blonde color morphs of Black Bears. Also hur hur "GoLdEn FrEdDy"
Whereas the ghost-type is MOSTLY a pun on Spirit Bears, but it'll also how I rationalize a Sasquatch pokemon would be able to hide from humans so well, using their ghostly abilities to phase into the shadows and slink through and behind the trees
The fighting type is obvious. They're bears, and the gorilla aspect I added add on to that, The normal type is just a pun on how common black bears are. They're by far the most widespread bear in America (1/2)
The reason why is that many "sightings" and "physical evidence" end up being people misidentified bears walking on two legs or passing Bear(and human) fur off as Sasquatch fur samples.
ALT: a bear is standing on its hind legs on a road
Any Eagle-eyed viewers will notice I gave the Urseek line Primate/Gorilla aspects. This is because the Urseek line(Ursquatch especially) is based on the legendary cryptid, the Sasquatch.
Ursquatch is a combination of "Ursus" and "Sasquatch." Ursquatch is based on Kermode Bears, AKA Spirit Bears, which are a subspecies of the American black bear with white/blonde fur found around the Central and North Coast regions of British Columbia, Canada.
Ursonter is a combination of "Ursus" and a corruption of "Saunter," which means to walk in a slow and relaxed way, often in no particular direction. It is based on Glacier Bears, a subspecies of American black bear with silver-blue or gray hair endemic from Southeast Alaska.
Urseek is a combination of "Ursus" and "Seek" as in "Hide and seek" which is a dumb pun I made to illude to the line's rarity. Urseek, as well as the rest of its line, are based on Black Bears and their different color morphs. Urseek represents the normal color morph.
