could be something similar to twitters blue checkmark but marketed differently. e.g. maybe you can get a "supporter checkmark" that just shows you support the platform rather than making it a weird pseudo-political statement or faux verification

this seems like the most sane assumption I've seen so far, they seem to still be considering thier options for serious monitization
