Try looking for "chopped" mason jar salad recipes online, or their shiny new cousin the dense bean salad. They're both types of salads you make in bulk but because they're designed that way they don't get wilty as fast because use heartier veg and layer so they stay fresher.

It's true but also he only got a nick on his ear so he milked it for as long as he could but without something gruesomely in your face, it's hard to make "didn't actually get hurt" compelling, even for him. Also his weirdo fans with pads on their ears looked goofy. Hard to make that compelling.
The absolute outpouring after Walz called Vance's position weird and that it stuck, in my mind, is a big reason why he got picked. Not the only reason, but I am secretly convinced it's a big one.

Most of the public Trump support I see in my area is more subtle this time around. A small yard sign, or one Trump flag instead of 3, or an upside down flag. I think even the guy who flew the "no quarter given" coded flag is back to basic "rah rah Murrica" stuff.
