I do get a twinge when I'm reminded others can see who I've blocked, because then people might think I block people with Good Opinions and therefore I must be a Bad Person with bad opinions but the vibe here is it's fine to block anyone for any reason even if it's petty.

Yeah I read that too, then he went to how he wants to cut everyone's taxes including business taxes, then the mental train jumped tracks to his tariffs defense. The other problem is that literally everyone you know and society itself ALSO has to fundamentally change right now to be of use. There's a definite everything or nothing undercurrent in all of these issues - either we save earth/democracy or we burn/fall to fascists. And that's too much for many.

Also, that middle part about flying immigrants to swing states? REPUBLICANS DID THAT SHIT AS A PUBLICITY STUNT!!! Lest we all forget, Abbott *bragged* about flying migrants to Martha's Vineyard, Philly, and other asylum cities because he couldn't imagine those places actually accepting those people.

I'm very lucky that my grocery store is usually stocked with what I need. I still go in person but man is it good when I am in a busy period. My store does free curbside as well, so no having to make minimum (although usually I'm doing at least a week's worth of shopping so I wouldn't be worried)

I won't lie, curbside grocery is a godsend because currently my time is more valuable to me at this point but yeah in an ideal world that would mean the number of people hired would go up, but more likely they will ask their current understaffed workforce to pull triple duty.
