i've noticed a growing sentiment from people who not only do not feel they should be expected to speak to people kindly and normally, they are actively offended and infuriated by the very suggestion of it. cut it the fuck out and learn how to act right.
People forget that in real life, the consequences of their words and actions count. I’m sorry this happened to you.
Im generally polite in person (although i have lost my temper at the post offuce, i admit).
Right? Reflexive bridge-burning is not a good look to anyone who gives a shit, they'll just cut you out of their lives. You just get left with a group of assholes around you.
Notably, they also won't stand for it happening to them in kind.
They always label this as "FREEDOM" but only when it suits their needs specifically.
Anyone who makes a big deal about the difference between nice and kind is trying to get out of being nice.
Hopefully you're only seeing this from the "too much Internet" crowd. Not an experience I have irl, luckily and hopefully not you. There is not a level deeper of "just being left alone" I could possibly be experiencing rn. Which is a separate problem. Rather anti-social out here unless you're in.
Fuck off. ( no really. Thanks for the reminder 😎🌵today was my day to be grumpy)
