As far as I can tell, he was working a bit north of of Vimy Ridge, closer to Bethune. It's difficult to tell exactly where the accident happened, but he is buried at Houchin British Military Cemetery, which suggests he was north of Vimy Ridge. Or perhaps that's just where medical care was available.

I think they moved a lot of them around in 1919, which was probably part of his job. Not pleasant work.
