I love that comic because the final panel has Hobbes obviously speaking for BW (C: “This is SO cool!” H: “This is SO dumb!”) but as someone fortunate to be a tween in that time, that one hit the junior high kids like a rocket. Cutouts from that Sunday paper were on a lot of our folders, books, etc.
