Sometimes they take a while to appear - they're not instant. Usually worth waiting for them though, they make things much faster. They really don't like singing though, I spent hours typing out the words to Rhymetimes over lockdown.

Youtube captions are pretty easy to do and their auto captions aren't bad - usually just needs a bit of light editing. If you've already got timed captions done you can usually just upload the file and it will sort itself out

Had a nice time in Cambourne yesterday giving a talk on the history of the environmental movement in Cambridgeshire. Always seems to be a popular one in South Cambs.

Always enjoy teaching kids how to use a microfilm machine - had two in today facinated with adverts for dentures and patent medicines. Amazing what you can do with a light bulb and some mirrors.
