We need, as nerds, to just kick Lovecraft off a cliff, though don't we? Lovecraft Country (despite the obvious Jonathon Majors problem) is the only thing that has evoked his name that is any good. The rest is just junk.
Just listened to a podcast that nailed my reasons for why Color Out of Space doesn't work for me. It made a child cry. And it's not that he just cries, he is in extended pain for most of the last half of the movie. I am NOT on board with that.
I'm discovering that I have certain kinks. The first one is hairy ass British men (See: Charlie Cox, Brett Goldstein... probably Bob Hoskins too while we are at it) The other kink is extremely tall blonde women (Hannah Waddingham, Gwendoline Christie, Elizabeth Debicki. YES, YES AND YES)

I just reminded my friends that I am going to see The Wild Robot on Saturday. That movie is giving me massive Iron Giant vibes. I need someone to tell me IS IT GOING TO BE LIKE THE IRON GIANT? Do I need to prepare for that level of heartache?
