How come the people who believe in chemtrails are the same people who were opposed to wearing masks? Seems to me they should have been all-in in N95s.

Must read, plagiarized election slogan As leader of the opposition, he challenged an unpopular sitting prime minister to a carbon tax election. He described the carbon tax as a “great big tax on everything” that will wreck the economy. And his favourite slogan? Axe the tax. /1 thread

Does Gmail protect your information? No. Everything including your emails, password recovery links, and private documents. “Google has it, and they’re not simply hoarding it for fun, I promise. They are reading it. Well, their algorithms most definitely are. The target is you.”

Thanks. I was thinking it might be based just on what the US does.

I’m disappointed in CTV because in this world where Poillievre’s supporters don’t believe facts, it’s critical that media channels get facts right. Otherwise the falsehoods spouted by the right are harder to hold accountable. Poillievre’s actual words are bad enough. We don’t need to embellish.

CTV wasn’t out to get Pierre Poilievre. The truth is more alarming

While the Conservatives were quick to call the error malicious, something more worrying could well be to blame.

Can someone explain to me the source of a nation’s obligation to provide out-of-country infrastructure to repatriate its citizens who moved to other countries? Perhaps it’s a fundamental function of nation-states? Just point me to a good article on the topic so I can get up to speed.

Rings of Power is so unrealistic. As if Sauron has to move his hands to cast spells.

Foreign Affairs has been telling Canadians to come home from Lebanon for months. That, in addition to common sense, is reason enough for Canadians there not to be relying on Canada for an exit strategy. This won’t stop some from criticizing government for not doing enough, but I won’t be buying it.

Global Affairs Canada is pre-booking seats on flights to try and help as many Canadians as possible leave the country

My thinking too! But never underestimate the power of the human desire to not lift out arm off the bed.
