Okay so this took some doing and is not precise because liver size is variable. Found a study putting liver size at 18.1 mL/kg body weight. Assume the ideal 70kg patient. Thats 1267 mL. That’s about 2 and a half peanut butter jars. 1/2

Alcoholic liver sizes varied by severity. In severe alcoholics, it as 30.2 mL/kg, which in that same 70kg patient would be 4.4 jars.
