Part of what spurred this response is seeing takes like "Furry isn't queer", which I can only square if you also believe "LGBT EXACTLY EQUALS Queer". Ignoring how furry communities organize around and celebrate non-normative identities that are shamed by society.
Please be understanding this weekend of any Latter-day Saints (formerly known as Mormons) you may know. It's a very stressful time of year where they gather to watch their prophets emerge from the ground, and if they see their shadows it means six more months of bigotry.
yeah honestly, that sounds pretty great I use other peoples' perception of my gender as a loose sort of guide to like... how well I'm playing the game of performing gender? But it's not a measure in any way of *me*.
