Frieren rules. I love how they visually separate the different eras; Serie's era akin to LotR elves, then Flamme's era being Greco-roman, and now Fern's era as a sprawling medieval civilization. It really sells the passage of time.

This morning a flock of warthogs wandered past the pool. Good animal sightings given we still haven't left the hotel yet...

A pair of hippos showed up at our hotel to eat the lawn.
