Oh no!!! I’m so sorry. That sounds absolutely miserable

I fell down the stairs and hit my butt on each step, once. I badly bruised my tail bone. It took more than a week before I could sit without pain. A donut inflatable pillow did not help neither did arranging pillows in a circle to relieve pressure on my tailbone. I wish you well and able to lay down
