I loved your advice *except*: sometimes bad sex can range from ick to meh, and sometimes for women who have sex with men, bad sex is coercion and assault that goes beyond just "bad" but gets internalized as their fault. Without relying on binaries, I wish you had distinguished between these modes

I'm a transplant to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where Kent County was one of the last places in the *country* to integrate public schools and only did so under a plan from the federal government. "Construction delays" (read: slow-rolling) of the new high school meant it didn't happen until 1971.
