I know my first instinct when in the presence of NYPD shooting willy-nilly into the subway would be to pick up a knife I saw laying on the ground. Bc everyone knows there’s no consequences for being seen by cops holding something. Totally normal thief activity. Definitely worth the risk for a knife.
Like they're so incompetent that they didn't have a throwaway knife. If you're going to be a thug at least be, you know, well versed in thuggery.
