By the way, where is your photo from?

It seems to be a Gasteropoda? Isn'it? Mostly bivalves, I agree.

Look at this. What do you think? "The shells include Turreted Gastropods". Your idea is interesting because this rock dates back to the Jurassic, as well your suggestion (by the way, I'm a enthusiastic too). www.albionstone.com/portland-sto...

On the other hand, I posted on Twitter about another facing stone. Ammonite? Bivalve? Any ideas?

I`ve found something similar in a stone bench (made of Portland Roach Stone probably) in Weymouth (south GB). Looking for that, I concluded they are gasteropoda from family Turritellidae, AKA tower shells. Any correction will be welcomed.

And a couple of examples from Donegal, Ireland: dolomite veins in karst limestone and quartz veins cross-cutting metamorphosed limestones

White ridges of quartz in a greyish rock that is metamorphosed limestone. Tips of hiking boots for scale.
Grey rocks with brownish coloured veins running across them. The brown veins are more resistant to weathering and project slightly from the grey ones. Pink flowers are about 1cm across and give a sense of scale

Differential weathering: (1) Interlayered dolostone (tan) and limestone (gray) showing the dolostone layers standing out while the limestone is relatively recessive, and (2) Lineated granitoid where the potassium feldspar is weathered out relative to surrounding minerals, making shallow pits. ⚒️

Photograph of a boulder showing internal layers within a streambed full of cobbles. A hammer serves as a sense of scale.
Oblique photograph of a rock surface, where in the middle distance shallow pits can be seen to be centered on the elongated peach-colored feldspars. A pencil serves as a sense of scale.
