Just the usual. YouTube telling artists to do this or that with their art in order to be marketable, or urging them to hop on trends in order to be seen. Which like, if it works for you, sure. But also, do what you want and the right people will appreciate it.

Oh my goodness, literally everything I do artistically is entirely self-serving and self gratifying I'm trying to figure out what 'selfish' art is, because that implies the existence of 'selfless art' and thats.. a CONCEPT, I suppose

You don't have to give up what you love creating in order to make money. You can just make shit you like sometimes (or all the time, who cares)
