I haven’t completed my latest disability app in the US bc of the part where I need to find and hire a disability lawyer so *maybe* I could get disability within two years. And then that lawyer gets a cut of my disability for however long.

Same position. In the "no one is calling me back, and I don't know who to call" phase. And it took a few years to get *this* point. And if it doesn't work out, I get to start all over from the beginning, and hope I've gotten worse enough in the interim to qualify, I guess.

A lawyer told me my case wasnt worth him pursuing, so I'm staring dow the barrel of a three week deadline left on my appeal, and I don't know where to start. It's bad. Best of luck to you, because I haven't foubd much yet.
