Very windy & cloudy today, after rains last night. Took a punt to go and look at El Pinet salt lakes, to see which Terns are still present. Coming back to the car park, I couldn't believe a juvenile Collared Pratincole in the dirt of the car park. #birds

Have some amazing pictures of this juvenile Collared Pratincole from today. Blown away by the close experience with it. #birds

A new CDC report has found that cancer death rates dropped from 200.7 per 100,000 people in 1999 to 142 per 100,000 in 2022. This equates to roughly three million additional Americans alive today due to reduced cancer death rates over the past two decades. https://buff.ly/4e70lKW#ShareGoodNewsToo

Following a CDC report and after years of progress, serious researchers are willing to use the word ‘cure’ when talking about cancer’s future.
