This is your periodic reminder to wash your emotional support water bottle. Yes, that means the straw too if it has one.

Also HIGHLY RECOMMEND good insoles. I was in SO MUCH pain from hosting & working retail a few years ago, and new insoles were the only thing that helped at all.

Honestly, I preferred getting the no slip covers for my own pair of black shoes. They were cheaper than a whole new pair, and you can take them off if you wanted to still wear the shoes outside of work. www.shoesforcrews.com/catalog/over...

Breaking news: local girl sleeps

I’ve been on beta blockers for a little over a full month now, and my Apple Watch has informed me that my resting heart rate has trended lower over the last four weeks. HUH. YA DON’T SAY. All of that to say, I’m glad it’s obvious that this medication is working for me, and I’m feeling a bit better.

A line graph of a heart rate monitor spanning from the middle of July to the first week of September. The line starts in the mid 80s - low 90s, has a sharp decline at the end of July into August, it levels out from there at around the mid 60s. There is a faint bar graph behind the line on the graph that shows the range of heart rate readings, the bars begin in July very tall, and follow the line graph so that they get shorter when the line drops.

This has been the longest four day work week of my life. Is it 5pm yet?

YOU GUYS WE HAVE TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING SO THE ECHIDNAS CAN DREAM

Screenshot of Wikipedia entry on Echidnas: "Contrary to previous research, the echidna does enter REM sleep, but only in a comfortable temperature around 25 °C (77 °F). At lower or higher temperatures of 15 °C (59 °F) and 28 °C (82 °F), REM sleep is suppressed."
