As a Californian I was SHOCKED by how much of a beach-party city The Hague is. I recommend a nice bike ride along the beachfront. I recommend touring the tunnels under Maastricht. The Museum about the bombing of Rotterdam is powerful. Also, load up on Indonesian food-- it's great!
