I have been angry for MONTHS that I couldn't get another booster after six months, and now they're saying I can't get another one this YEAR? What the hell, CDC?? Anyone who wants to should be able to protect themselves and others! And you should be encouraging everyone to want to!

The only way I was able to get a six month booster was to tell them that I am a caregiver for my elderly parents. I had to go thru a few hoops but they did it. I don’t want to think about what it will mean if I can’t get at least an annual shot. I already do almost nothing.

I just left them a comment. My adult daughter (32) has epilepsy and OCD. She is TERRIFIED of getting long covid. She was recently able to get a booster, but there have been times before this when she was told she didn't qualify. This country has such fucked up priorities.

In the UK you can only get boosters if you're over 60 or have a handful of severe disabilities, & its been that way since the first booster shot, meaning most of the UK hasn't had a booster since 2021. I wouldn't mind if you could buy one like the flu shots but nope, there is just no access at all.
