What I love about the original was how hard it swung for the fences. Every single episode was like WE ARE GOING TO TAKE ON THE BIGGEST IDEAS IN SCIENCE FICTION AND HUMAN FRAILTY AND SOLVE THEM IN 40 MINUTES COLD. Everything that came after is so gutless by comparison!!!

Yes! It has held up so beautifully! I did a rewatch of every episode and, yes, season 3's budget woes show but it when it was on, it was rock solid.
