Or just go into finance. Then you get both worlds - party your ass off, AND make a lot of money! Just make sure to squirrel away a lot of it in the stock market, because the only way (that I can see) to make enough money to retire in America is to ride the coattails of corporations.
could have used more advice like this in my 20s. happy with where I've ended up at 35, but wish the path to get here had been a little more fun/interesting.
That was kind of my 20s. It wasn't always great. Worked a lot of shitty jobs for low pay, was constantly broke, probably added a few years to my needing to work instead of retiring at 62, but I wouldn't trade it for the grind.
start enjoying life now, no one makes it out alive.
16-38 I worked insane hours hoping I would make something of myself in the construction industry I have a broken body and regrets That's what I made........ Live your life while you're young. Companies will still be there
Except for the "next sixty years" part, unfortunately.

Especially important for those of us who had to spend our 20s trying to struggle through school and find a career. Not to mention for me personally, struggling with the fact that I'd been repressing my sexuality most of my life with no outlet to explore. I'm 31 now and I feel like I'm so behind.
One of the best and wisest to ever do it
