JFC, is there a way to turn that off? I'm a Linux user so don't have to use Windows too often thankfully.
It is difficult for me to imagine a feature (INCLUDING generative bloo-blah assistance, which I despise) that I could want less

I believe you can turn it off, and it's supposed to be opt in not opt out. Also according to them all the data is supposed to be stored locally. God's only know how much space that will take.
