West Germans really want to blame the lack of denazification in the DDR for the rise of the AfD in the East despite the fact that the DDR did way more comprehensive denazification than the West. They do this because itâs easier than looking at how wealth disparity is fertile ground for fascism.

I will DM you to see! I think a lot of them are used to dealing with the 'old' type of expats. The ones on big corporate relocations that were temporary.
Thanks! Yes, we also felt that they [school] assume the kids will study in either UK/US or Ireland, maybe Netherlands. But we found several other families who had students at German schools or planned to.

Oh wow! My first concert was Rick Springfield at Engel Stadium in Chattanooga. Sounds bigger than it was. 'Jesse's Girl' had just hit and he played on a stage set up in the outfield to maybe a couple hundred people. I was 10 and mortified that women were throwing their underwear on stage.
