This would be impressive, except PRH is busy trying to ban books by suing a library. Their hypocrisy undermines their cause. How can they credibly argue that book banning is bad when only SOME book banning is bad? Why should anyone take them seriously?
If you're a person who cares about book banning this is a sexy bit of news. It's worth saying, PRH is too big, and we can talk about monopolies in publishing separately and ALSO they are the ones LEADING THE WAY among publishers. This is a big move, and a big deal. slate.com/culture/2024...
