I firmly believe that's what hand-sewn cording is _for_. It looks amazing!
Whatever works! I used to have a cat who wasn't really cuddly with me unless I was working on a quilt in which case he had to be in the lap under it and I made sure I could shift the quilt without disturbing the cat and we'd settle in for a binding session.
Too bad I'm not local, I like binding, find it meditative.
Oof yeah we're reorganizing our storage unit and I found a quilt that's done... from the 90's maybe, maybe early oughts? And the binding isn't finished. *sigh*
Same, I'm like, "well, interests is what I'd call that."
Small consolation: one of the things they dumped was the registration, so when the car was found several weeks later and 3 states away, I could prove it was mine. (2/2)
When my car was stolen the thieves dumped its contents in a municipal waste area. Included some stuff that had my info so I got a call that I'd be arrested and fined for littering if I didn't come out and clean it all up that day. Car stolen? Why would we care? (1/2)
Auctions are great fun! Just if you bid in the egg auction know the volume (says the person who got flats when they thought they were bidding by the dozen.)
May I share this with the quilting group on Reddit?
