I don’t read that many books written super recently- but these are some faves from the past 10 years. Anyone have recommendations along these lines?

In terms of general *vibes* from the full collection, you might also consider The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.

Normal People reminds me of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. There were some things I disliked about it (the most troubling being a professor-student romance), but it had other interesting themes.

The Interestings makes me think of Donna Tartt's the Secret History, or The Goldfinch.
