I canāt force Butker, Benedictine, or the rad trads to just start promoting a more dignified view of women. But I can seek change. I spoke out today in a company meeting about how certain policies disproportionately impact women. Use your voice where it can make a difference.

I believe this even as I believe that a lot of what we went through in that dimly lit room was manufactured.
I donāt think Catholic orgs need to pay a ton of money to attract good talent. A lot of millennials and gen z workers will take pay cuts for mission and culture. (Iāve done it.) But a lot of Catholic orgs have toxic or non-inclusive cultures and refuse to see it.
How are people surprised by this? This is a natural development of a mode of discourse that grounds Christianity in a soulless logical conformance to doctrine.
A friend shared how her priest used the Good Shepherd homily to talk about how our bishop is a protector and amazing leader. I like our bishop. But that kind of homily is propaganda.
